Our “Industry Innovation Program (IIP)” is one of its kind as the program is delivered in collaboration with Steinbeis University, Germany. The program is distinctive in its class by itself with German certification.
We at ATIK Energy Solutions strive to create a better world by igniting the creativity of young minds by inspiring them with real world problems and step by step approach towards solution. Through IIP program, we give a level playing field for students from Tier-II & Tier-III cities to explore their acumen and test their boundaries of profession in finding a solution to a real life problem which is connected with the society. In a way we help them to change their thought process and design thinking process which the industry requires.

The Steinbeis – Hochschule Berlin (SHB), or also known as the steinbeis university, Berlin, is a private ,state-recognized university founded in 1998 in Berlin. For more than 150 years, the hallmarks of “Generation Steinbeis” have been progressive thinking, pioneering spirit, and a flair for innovation. In the early 19th century, Ferdinand and Otto von Steinbeis paved the way for modern manufacturing, training, and value-based entrepreneurship. In the 20th century, the younger Generation Steinbeis revolutionized the resource-intensive paper industry, bringing about “ecological transformation” and establishing one of the most modern recycled paper factories in Europe. The goal of the Steinbeis Foundation and Steinbeis GmbH & Co. KG für Technologie transfer is to continue this commitment entered into by Generation Steinbeis, not only to science and academia, but also to economic development.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN IIP:
INDUSTRY INNOVATION PROGRAM (2 DAYS ONLY ON WEEKENDS):
Industry Innovation Program (IIP) is a very special program for us, and as far as we can think, it is very unique as well. We had participants from nearly every college ,from every branch, from every corner of the country (from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well). Participants in ‘Industry Innovation Program (IIP)’ showed the truly beautiful diversity culture of Indian union. We have learned a lot during the last IIPs and are thankful to all the participants. We are hoping our learning will help us run upcoming IIP better. Industry Innovation Program happens in two phases at one of the most sought after WEWORK , EMBASSY GOLF LINKS in Bangalore. IIP is a 20 hour session which happens in two days(Saturday & Sunday).
We seed the idea of entrepreneurship by taking you through the stages of
- What is a problem statement? How to pick the right one?
- Impact of market & competitor research.
- Embed your idea with your code to your hardware.
- Deep dive into business laws & compliance requirements.
- Technical mentorship by industrial experts to come up with possible solution to your problem statements.
- Robotic Process Automation – It is not just the basics of entrepreneurship that you will learn, a new domain will be opened to those who seek an opportunity for employment through Robotic Process Automation.
THE STRATEGY:
The strategy for Industry Innovation Program (IIP) is to focus more on HandsOn experience first, and then, take you deeper into concepts. Therefore we will cover mostly the latest concepts and not spend time on historical stuff not being used in the industry anymore.
THE OBJECTIVE:
The objective of Industry Innovation Program (IIP) is to democratize disruptive technology to the next generation. We want to develop a strong ecosystem in Indian union for upcoming technologies and this directly depends on how many people actually practice it.
THE BATCHES:
Selected interns will be divided into different batches.Batch allocated to you is fixed and final, and we will not be able to change it later.
THE SCHEDULE:
All the sessions start at 8:30 AM sharp and end at 6:00 PM. Sessions are not recorded and there is no option to cover the sessions online.
THE PHASES:
Industry Innovation Program (IIP) is divided into 2 phases. You need to clear the exam at the end of each phase to progress forward. By design, only those who land in the top 50 Percentile will proceed forward.
Phase I has 4 sessions (covering topics from Ideation, Market Research, Business Laws, Embedded Systems and Robotic Process Automation).
Phase II is an optional research phase where participants would be required to undertake a special project and work towards the delivery of complete end to end model creation, in some of the hardest problems out there.
THE TESTS:
Test-driven-Approach – Every assignment in Phase I is collected and marked. Only those participants who fall into the top 50 percentile would be eligible to move for the Phase II(optional). To start working on an individual project you’ll need to have a firm grasp of the concepts covered in Phase I.
THE ASSIGNMENTS:
After every session, you’ll be given an assignment, which you need to complete and submit before the next session. The assignments are designed to help you learn more than what we cover in the sessions, expand your understanding of the concepts, and help you prepare for the projects.
WHAT TO CARRY?
For each session, you are expected to bring your own laptop with 2 hours of battery backup.

Attending a program from teachers is different from attending a program from industrial experts who share their experience in a productive way, which makes this program stand out from others. Most of all I was delighted to meet Ms. Vijayalakshmi Karuppasamy and her team who were are mentors for the program, made us feel like home, gave us complete exposure to the work environment and without whom this program wouldn’t have been a successful one.
